I was born at the Horton hospital in 1955, raised in Grimsbury, attending St Leonard Primary, Grimsbury Secondary and Banbury Schools.  After which I joined the Army, where I served 24 years in the Royal Signals and left in 1995 to return to Banbury and once again live in Grimsbury.  My wife Hazel is also from Banbury and we have 2 children, with my involvement in the local community and local issues and running a successful Neighbourhood Watch since 1997, I was selected as a member of the Neighbourhood Action Group, where I have concerns regarding local crime.

In 2004 I took over as the Royal British Legion Banbury branch secretary and Poppy Appeal Organiser.  In 2007 I was elected as a Cherwell District Councillor for Grimsbury and Castle and in 2008 as a Town Councillor for the same ward.

I am concerned with the conservation and clean-up of Grimsbury and the Town and with the expansion of the area to both housing and industry; I am very concerned about the increased traffic congestion and feel that with the support of my fellow Councillors we can make a difference and best serve the concerns and interests of the local community.
