I have lived in the Banbury area since 1989. I am married with two children. I worked for the Ministry of Defence for thirty one years since 1977 to 2008, and I now work for JS Sainsburys in Banbury
I have been a Banbury town councillor for the Neithrop South ward since 2004 and was recently elected as a District councillor in May 2008 also for Neithrop South. During my time as a town councillor I have been given an insight as to how local councils work to benefit their community I firmly believe that important local issues such as the secure future of the Woodgreen Leisure Centre swimming pool and the proposed changes to health care at the Horton General Hospital are issues which have an impact on all residents within all wards of Banbury.
I feel that I can be that voice for you the residents of Neithrop South on Banbury town council concerning those and all other important local and general matters that you the ward members may feel strongly about and would like to be heard .
