To see a Fine Lady upon a White Horse

With rings on her fingers and bells on her toes

She shall have Music wherever she goes”

An historic Market Town which due to its location between London and Birmingham, and its excellent transport links has grown and prospered during recent years to a current population of approximately 45,000.

Britain in Bloom Finalist

Britain in Bloom is the largest horticultural campaign in Europe.  Every year, hundreds of communities are involved, all bringing horticultural skill and enthusiasm to one common aim - to regenerate local environments.
Britain in Bloom is organised by the RHS, in partnership with Shredded Wheat,  and will strive to effectively promote and enhance the competition, to
provide sound support and advice for entries, and contribute to horticultural expertise throughout British communities.
