BANBURY TOWN HALL
This fine Victorian Gothic Town Hall, designed by the local Architect E Bruner, is the fourth Town Hall to be constructed in Banbury. This historic building has an abundance of character and was first opened on 24 October 1854 and in 1860 a Clock was added to the Tower.
The Town Hall is centrally located in Bridge Street, making it an ideal venue for meetings. Banbury benefits from good transport links, being on junction 11 of the M40, served by Chiltern Railway between London and Birmingham, plus nearby parking.
As well as housing the Town Council Offices, the Main Hall and Committee Room are available for hire for family functions, conferences, meetings, charity use, commercial sales, etc.
The Main Hall has a regal splendour with wooden panelling throughout and a gallery of portraits. The hall has recently been refurbished to a high specification including; wooden flooring, walls re-plastered and painted, full length curtains and pelmets as well as new chairs. The Minstrels gallery overlooks the hall and offers additional space for the sound of a choir or quartet. This hall has a hi-tec sound system with surround sound and roving microphones available to hire.
The Committee Room comprises of a bar area thus making the Town Hall an ideal venue for holding events such as parties and special family occasions. Alternatively, the Committee Room can accommodate up to 30 people for smaller meetings, presentations, etc.

There is a small kitchen available for use together with crockery, cutlery and glasses. For presentations there is a lectern, screen and digital projector that can be hired together with staging which is available to hire in sections.
A Duty Manager will be available at every booking to assist hirers. The Town Hall is disabled friendly with a ramp at the side of the building, lift and toilet facilities.

Once dates and times have been checked and confirmed, a provisional booking will be made, and upon receipt of the completed Application Form the booking will be confirmed. Payment for the hire is due 14 days prior to use. If no payment is received bookings will be cancelled.
