Litter & Dog Bins
The town council is responsible for the provision and maintenance of 270 litter bins within its parks, cemeteries and open spaces.

All town centre litter bins are maintained and emptied by Cherwell District Council on a regular basis.
The town council also combines with CDC in its ‘gum-busting’ programme – the chemical removal of chewing gum from the pedestrianised areas of the town.
The town council responsible for the provision and maintenance of over 125 dog bins in Banbury. The council constantly reviews and enhances the service. All dog bins are emptied twice a week, 52 weeks a year.

As of 1st April 2015, all bins are now emptied by Cherwell District Council Cleansing, who were awarded the contract for 5 years.
