Administrative Officer (Part-time Contract)
18.5 hours per week
(Monday-Wednesday 2.5 Days)
£26,873 - £28,770 Pro Rata
The Council are looking
for an Administrative Officer to join our team delivering high standards of administration support to the Council. Duties include supporting
the day to day running of the Council offices and its services. This will
include, call handling, answering emails, responding to enquiries, processing
sales/payment invoices, updating software systems, taking bookings for sports
hires, allotments and events.
The successful applicant will be a hardworking self-starter, enthusiastic, flexible, a good team player, and have the ability and flexibility to handle a variety of tasks, as multitasking will be required. You will be able to demonstrate proven experience working with IT software packages and Microsoft Office Pro (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Experience working within a busy office environment is essential, good communication is a key skill required, as is the ability to work as part of a successful team.
