Welcome to Banbury....

Located in North Oxfordshire and known around the world from the nursery rhyme:

“Ride a Cock Horse to Banbury Cross

To see a Fine Lady upon a White Horse

With rings on her fingers and bells on her toes

She shall have Music wherever she goes”

An historic Market Town which due to its location between London and Birmingham, and its excellent transport links has grown and prospered during recent years to a current population of approximately 45,000.

The Town Council was created in 2000 to represent the people of Banbury  providing both a voice for the town and also a range of local services.

Our website is designed to help you find information on the services we offer within the Town.
