The maintenance of highway grass verges in the town are now the responsibility of the Cherwell District Council in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council. The work is being undertaken by their maintenance contractors Idverde.

Cherwell District Council has taken on the Agency Agreement from OCC Highways Department.
