Planting in the Park - 2024

Published: 13 June 2024

People's Park has been transformed into a vibrant, colourful landscape full of flowers and decorations thanks to the efforts of students at 11 primary schools from across Banbury. Each school was given the task of turning an empty plot of soil into an eye-catching flowerbed themed to the upcoming Olympic Games, due to take place in Paris, France. The centrepiece of each flowerbed was designed and constructed from scratch by every school attending. These centrepieces now stand proudly among the dazzling flower arrangements, each one celebrating the unity, diversity, and history of the Olympics.
